A delegation from the Syrian Businessmen Association (SURIAD) participated in the MÜSİAD INVEST Forum organized by the Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MÜSİAD) under the theme “Turkic Republics.” The event, held under the MÜSİAD INVEST umbrella, brought international investors together with the investment environment in Türkiye, with more than 300 businesspeople from various countries in attendance.
SURIAD’s participation in this forum stems from the Association’s commitment to broadening its horizons and strengthening commercial and investment relations with various countries. Through its participation, SURIAD aims to explore new investment opportunities and develop strategic partnerships with businesspeople and investors from the Turkic Republics and beyond.
MÜSİAD INVEST held its second major meeting under the theme “Turkic Republics,” with the aim of leading and directing international investments. The forum was attended by a number of prominent figures, including the President of MÜSİAD, Mr. Mahmut Asmalı; the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, Shirzad Abdunazarov; the President of MÜSİAD INVEST, Mr. Serhat Kısakürek; the Deputy President of the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Furkan Karakaya; and the CEO of the “Youth Are Our Future” Foundation, Khairulla Sattorov.
The event included presentations and opening remarks in which Mr. Mahmut Asmalı spoke about the objectives of MÜSİAD INVEST, noting the Association’s efforts to strengthen the investment environment in Türkiye through its international expertise. He also highlighted the establishment of a high-quality international business network through MÜSİAD INVEST, which contributes to improving the Turkish investment climate.

The forum, which was attended by a large delegation from Uzbekistan, featured B2B business meetings between Turkish and international businesspeople. During these sessions, investment opportunities and potential partnerships in Türkiye were discussed. These meetings aimed to enhance investment prospects and promote commercial cooperation between Turkish companies and their counterparts from the Turkic Republics.

The Deputy President of the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Furkan Karakaya, delivered a speech in which he discussed the developments and the history of the establishment of the Organization of Turkic States, highlighting Türkiye’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with brotherly countries. He also announced plans to hold the Turkish Business and Investment Forum in the coming months, emphasizing the “Century of Türkiye” vision led by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The event concluded with an exchange of views and experiences among the participants, who expressed their hope for achieving fruitful partnerships and investments in the future.
SURIAD affirmed its commitment to strengthening commercial and investment relations with various countries and contributing to the development of the investment environment in Türkiye. The Association continues its efforts to achieve growth and progress by exploring new investment opportunities and expanding its international network.
