The Syrian Businessmen Association (SURIAD), in cooperation with several international and local entities, organized the “Vocational and Professional Education Days” exhibition at the Şanlıurfa Exhibition Center through Board Member and Urfa Representative Mr. Abdulsalam Haj Ibrahim.

The exhibition witnessed a major opening attended by the Governor of Şanlıurfa, Mr. Hasan Şıldak, the Director of National Education, Mr. Asım Sultanoglu, and several prominent figures such as the Deputy Governor, Mr. Ahmet Fatih Sengur, and the President of the Şanlıurfa Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, Mr. Şefik Bakay.

The exhibition saw a wide attendance from companies, schools, and students, with 86 companies and 60 schools participating in this important event.

The exhibition aimed to promote the participating commercial companies and assist job seekers in connecting with them, in addition to strengthening vocational and technical education among youth and providing opportunities to learn about the labor market and engage with local companies by offering support to students.

The exhibition activities continued for three days, during which companies, teachers, and students gathered to present their work and projects. Among the participants were students from technical and vocational schools, who showcased their handmade products and technical projects in the designated booths. This exhibition provided an important platform for students to explore career opportunities and connect with company representatives.
SURIAD played a role in this exhibition through its active participation, representing itself and the member companies of the Association through its own dedicated booth.

Organizing such events reflects SURIAD’s commitment to supporting vocational education and providing opportunities for youth, as the exhibition strengthens the connection between students and companies and offers a platform for exchanging professional experiences. Through these efforts, SURIAD aims to prepare a new generation of distinguished professionals capable of meeting labor market needs.
