At the kind invitation of the International Business Forum (IBF), a delegation from the Syrian Businessmen Association – SURIAD attended the iftar banquet organized by the forum as part of the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Turkish-Arab Summit, scheduled to be held in June 2022 in the Turkish city of Gaziantep.
The summit will be held under the title: “Gaziantep: The Industrial City of the Middle East,” and will be attended by 1,600 Turkish and Arab businessmen from all Arab countries, representing various economic sectors in general, and the industrial sector in particular.
Mr. Erol Arar, President of the International Business Forum, gave a detailed presentation about the Turkish-Arab Summit and its objectives, highlighting its expected major impact on the Turkish and Arab Islamic economies in the region.
Discussions also addressed the establishment of a technological industrial investment fund through a Turkish-Arab partnership. Based on this, a joint committee will be formed to discuss the details and reach a final framework to begin implementation.
