The Vice Chairman of SURIAD, Eng. Halit SAVAFOĞLU, signed an important cooperation memorandum between the Syrian Businessmen Association (SURIAD) and the Rakh’aa Businessmen Association in Jordan, with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation between the two parties and opening new horizons for joint investment between business owners in Syria and Jordan.


This initiative comes at a time when the Arab region is witnessing significant economic transformations, and both associations seek to expand their impact and create more economic opportunities for their members.

Objectives of the Joint Cooperation:

The cooperation memorandum aims to enhance interaction between the members of both SURIAD and Rakh’aa, and to open diverse avenues for joint collaboration. and the memorandum outlined several provisions to facilitate this cooperation,

most notably:

  1. Mutual Introduction:
    It was agreed that each party would introduce its members to the other, which helps create new cooperation opportunities between business owners in both countries.
  2. Dissemination of Activities:
    The activities of each association will be shared with the other to inform members about all economic opportunities available in both countries.
  3. Economic Networking:
    The agreement includes facilitating networking between members of both associations, which helps build strong economic relationships that contribute to the growth of joint projects.
  4. Receiving Economic Delegations:
    As part of strengthening cooperation, the associations will receive visiting economic delegations and facilitate the establishment of connections with their counterparts.
  5. Investment Opportunities:
    Both sides will share available investment opportunities with one another, contributing to attracting new investments and developing joint economic projects.
  6. Introduction to Economic Laws and Regulations:
    Knowledge will be exchanged regarding the economic laws and regulations related to investment in both countries, to facilitate project implementation and avoid any legal obstacles.


  7. Legal Consultations:
    Both parties will work on providing the necessary legal consultations for business owners to establish coalitions and partnerships between the two sides, through highly qualified legal consultants.
  8. Organizing Meetings and Visits:
    Business meetings and work visits will be organized between members from both sides in both countries, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and interaction between companies and economic institutions.
  9. Introducing the Second Party in the Annual Directory

Conclusion:

This agreement represents an important step toward strengthening economic cooperation between the two associations, and it underscores the importance of building strategic economic relations that can enhance trade and investment in the region. through this initiative, the two associations aim to present a practical model of Arab cooperation through business leaders and economic institutions, which enhances engagement and contributes to achieving sustainable development in both countries.
