SURIAD participated in the Fourth Annual Forum organized by the Economic Planning Association (EPIAD) and the International Association for Economic Cooperation and Peace (IAECP), which was held on February 3rd in the city of Gaziantep, Türkiye, under the theme “Supporting the Syrian Economy.”
The forum featured a notable speech delivered by the Vice Chairman of SURIAD, Eng. Halit SAVAFOĞLU, and brought together a distinguished group of business leaders and economic experts, in addition to the United Nations Assistant Secretary-General, representatives from numerous countries and international organizations, where participants discussed ways to support the Syrian economy during the transitional phase the country is currently experiencing, with the aim of contributing to reconstruction efforts and achieving sustainable development.
The forum also witnessed the announcement of a detailed practical initiative to support the Syrian economy, which included proposals for rebuilding the economy, strengthening investments, empowering Syrian business owners both inside and outside the country. this initiative was considered an important step toward revitalizing economic development, creating new investment opportunities that enhance economic stability.
SURIAD’s participation in this event reaffirms its role in supporting Syrian business owners, strengthening economic cooperation with international partners, contributing to achieving sustainable economic recovery for Syria.
