Her Excellency Dr. Sara Aydın, Member of the Turkish Parliament and Chairwoman of the Emra Association, conducted a visit
on an honorable visit to the headquarters of the Syrian Businessmen Association – SURIAD
She was welcomed along with her accompanying delegation, and a general presentation was given about SURIAD, its objectives, activities, and the events it organizes. In addition, the obstacles faced by Syrian businessmen in Türkiye were presented in detail, including the citizenship file, the issuance and renewal of work permits, and the issue of property ownership for Syrians in Türkiye. Her Excellency showed great interest in the matter and promised to provide full support to the esteemed members of our association, convey these issues to decision-makers, and arrange meetings with them to raise the problems and work on solving them.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the general challenges faced by Syrians in Türkiye were discussed, emphasizing that Syrians are a productive and active element in Türkiye and can contribute greatly to supporting the path of investment, development, and progress in the Republic of Türkiye.
