In line with SURIAD’s commitment to its objectives and its efforts to strengthen communication and relations with both private and governmental financial institutions in Türkiye, the Association seeks to facilitate procedures and provide full support to its members.

A delegation from SURIAD’s Board of Directors conducted a working visit to the directors of several banks in Istanbul.

During the meeting, several important issues specifically related to investors were discussed, including—but not limited to—the procedures for opening bank accounts, whether personal or corporate, and the facilitations banks will provide, such as reducing the required documentation and assigning a dedicated customer service representative who speaks English in addition to Turkish. This will enable the Association’s members to obtain the required services in the shortest time possible and away from bureaucratic routines.

The discussion also covered the financial facilitations that banks will offer to companies owned by the Association’s members, in accordance with the banks’ approved policies and procedures. In addition, it was emphasized that these facilitations and procedures should begin to be provided to SURIAD members immediately.

At the end of the visit, the delegation presented commemorative shields from the Association to the bank directors as an expression of gratitude and appreciation for their administrations. The visit is intended to mark the beginning of a new phase in the relationship with these banks, aimed at supporting the Association’s members and removing obstacles they face so they can continue and expand their businesses.
