According to information obtained by BM.GE from the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TOBB), 37 companies with Syrian capital were registered in Türkiye between January and June 2024, representing a threefold decrease compared to the same period in 2023.

The Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TOBB) reported that the total registered capital of Syrian companies in Türkiye during the reporting period amounted to 43.3 million Turkish Lira, compared to 122.95 million Turkish Lira during the same period in 2023.

TOBB added that most of the Syrian companies registered between January and June 2024 were in Istanbul, where 21 companies were registered. The total registered capital of Syrian companies in Istanbul amounted to 17.3 million Turkish Lira.

Available data indicate that 24 commercial companies with Syrian capital were registered in Türkiye between January and June 2024, while the remaining companies operate in other economic sectors.
