In an atmosphere of optimism and cooperation, the General Assembly of the Syrian Businessmen Association (SURIAD) convened in Istanbul on Sunday, 26 November 2023. The conference was attended by members of the General Assembly as well as individuals interested in Syrian economic and commercial affairs in Türkiye.
During the conference, the new Administrative Council—responsible for leading the association over the next two years—was elected. Below are the details of the elected members:
Board of Directors:
- Engineer Nedal ALHIBEL: Elected as Chairman of the Board.
- Engineer Halit SAVAFOĞLU: Elected as Vice Chairman of the Board.
- Mr. Ammar SADIKLAR: Elected as Secretary.
- Engineer Munis AKKAD: Elected as Financial Officer.
- Mr. Giyas ENNECCAR : Elected as a Board Member.
- Mr. Abdalsalam HAJ EBRAHEM: Elected as a Board Member.
- Mr. Mahmoud ZIDAN: Elected as a Board Member.
Supervisory Committee:
- Mr. Hashim Al-Hamawi: Elected as Chairman of the Supervisory Committee.
- Mr. Adnan Al-Khatib: Elected as Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Committee.
- Mr. Jarir Al-Mulla Ali: Elected as a Member of the Supervisory Committee.
